Greta Lewanski, is owner and lead gardener at Gardenwild.
She began her journey with plants as a child in her very own backyard garden.
Later she studied Ecology and Fine Art at the Evergreen State College then started her first flower farm outside Madison, Wisconsin.
After returning home to Alaska she continued her love of growing by starting an urban flower farm on a vacant lot down the street from her Airport Heights home.
Greta’s a mama of two, a runner, a lover of mountains, and books.
No matter how cold, she will never turn down a wild swim in a lake, ocean or river.
