Greta Lewanski, is owner and lead florist at Gardenwild Floral.
She began her journey with plants as a child in her very own backyard garden.
Later she studied Ecology and Fine Art at the Evergreen State College then started her first flower farm outside Madison, Wisconsin.
After returning home to Alaska she continued her love of growing by starting an urban flower farm on a vacant lot down the street from her Airport Heights home.
She continues growing gorgeous flowers, in her backyard garden, to pop in Gardenwild’s signature garden-inspired designs and is always looking to support other Alaskan flower farmers.
Greta’s a mama of two, a runner, a lover of mountains, and a book lover.
No matter how cold, she will never turn down a wild swim in a lake, ocean or river.
