A boutonniere is a small cluster of flowers and foliage that gets pinned to the men’s suit coats.
We also make pocket boutonnieres, which slide into the pocket of the suit coat. These are a bit more elaborate and a great choice for those wanting a bit more floral.
Who get’s a boutonniere?
The groom
Any male or more masculine attendants
Dads
Men of honor
Male children in the ceremony (yes, we make boutonnieres for kids too!)
-
A corsage is slightly more elaborate than a boutonniere and comes in two style options.
Pin on corsages pin onto the blouse or dress of a woman.
Wrist corsages are floral bracelets that get worn on the wrist.
Who gets a corsage?
Moms
Women of honor
Bridesmaids could have this option instead of bouquets

We’d be happy to source and sell you gorgeous individual blooms and bulk flowers as long as your minimum investment is $2,500.00 total.
During the blooming months of summer: June - September we buy direct from Alaskan farmers. If they don’t have what we need, we source from our local wholesaler. Our floral wholesaler purchases flowers from all over the globe so that you may have amazing color and variety at any time of the year.

Color can be a tough choice to make!
Start by choosing your favorite colors.
Or you could look around Pinterest at colors others have used in their weddings and just wee what you like.
I highly suggest picking something seasonal. For instance, light and bright for spring, bold and bright for summer, dark and moody for fall, white and Christmasy for winter.
But of course it’s completely up to you! Pick something you love.

3) A medium arrangement in a vase on each table (great for round tables).

The weather in Alaska can vary considerable all year and especially during the summer.
A July day could be sunny and in the 80s or raining and in the 40s depending on the weather!
Watch the forecast and pack a variety of clothes. Think layers! Layers for your wedding attire, and layers for your recreation and leisure.
Know that due to our low-angle sun, it often feels hotter than it is. Plus, our sun hangs around longer in the evening, so don’t be surprised by how intense it can be.

There are so many ways!
Our favorite?
Individual notes/cards to each guest.
We know that on your wedding day, you’re so busy that connecting deeply with everyone most likely won’t happen.
Writing a note of gratitude to each guest lets you connect in a deep way through the written word.
Get started on this early and it’s totally doable.
